The Italy-China Foundation and the Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, exclusive representatives of the Silk Road Business Council for Italy, are pleased to announce the Belt and Road Trade and Investment Forum 2021, which will be held on December 2 in Beijing (click here to download the invitation letter).
The initiative was organized following the Belt & Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) by the China Chamber for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) which co-organized a series of events top-tier companies, most notably the first Belt and Road Trade and Investment Forum in 2018 and the Belt and Road CEO Conference a year later. These important events testified to the joint efforts of the organizers to refine international cooperation and echoed the principle of consultation, contribution and benefit sharing on which China proposed the stands for the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
The Forum will take place on December 2, 2021 in Beijing, with the intent to help shape the global response to the ongoing pandemic and promote high-quality cooperation within the BRI (click here to download the agenda). The underlying theme is "strengthening openness and cooperation to promote economic recovery" and will feature Chinese and foreign senior officials and business executives, representatives of international organizations, foreign institutions in China and business associations, as well as scholars. and experts, all invited to share their views on issues such as building a Digital Silk Road, a Health Silk Road and a Green Silk Road in the post-Covid era.
