China International Import Expo: information to participate in the 2020 edition

Italy China Foundation, Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and AICE organize the collective participation of Italian companies in the third edition of the CHINA INTERNATIONAL IMPORT EXPO in Shanghai, scheduled from 5 to 10 November 2020.

After the success of the first two editions, the China International Import Expo will also be held this year, the first fair in China dedicated exclusively to the import of products and services that promotes the presence of foreign exhibitors. From November 5 to 10, the event will host foreign companies interested in presenting their products and services in China.

The Chinese authorities are investing heavily in organizing this edition as a strong signal of recovery of activities and consumption in China, and as an attempt to exit the serious global health emergency. The aim of the initiative, promoted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Municipality of Shanghai, is to provide new business opportunities to countries and regions around the world, strengthen cooperation and promote the development of the global economy.

The last edition was attended by 181 countries and over 380 thousand exhibitors, over 500 thousand buyers on an exhibition area of 360 thousand square meters (click on this link to see the video of the 2019 edition).

In the past two editions, the Italy-China Foundation, the Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and AICE, as part of their role as official partners of the Organizers, have organized the participation of two important groups of Italian exhibitors who, in addition to being present at the fair, have been able to benefit from a program of meetings, seminars and b2b with local counterparts.

Organized by the CIIE Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, this year the fair will also actively involve the Italy-China Foundation, the Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and AICE thanks to the signing of a collaboration agreement for the promotion of the event and the organization of a presence of Italian companies at the event, thus helping to provide greater visibility to exhibitors in our country towards visitors and the media (click here to see the promotional video of the 2020 edition).

The fair will be organized in sectoral pavilions, divided by products (Consumer Electronics & Appliances, Apparel, Accessories & Consumer Goods, High-End Intelligent Equipment, Food & Agricultural products, Medical equipment & Healthcare products, Quality life / Luxury products) and services ( Tourism, Financial Services, Culture & Education, Logistics).

The companies concerned, in the various specialized pavilions, are offered the opportunity to participate with individual stands or within collective exhibition areas.
