The IT Officer is in charge of the day-to-day management of the branch’s IT infrastructure and ensure normal operations in case of an IT-system outage with a backup solution supported by Luxembourg subsidiary, as mentioned in BCP/DRP.
More, in detail, in the performance of his/her duties the IT Officer will carry out the following activities:
• Collect the business needs for the improvement and customization of IT systems
• Design and code work on the in-house developed IT programs focusing on the office supporting system
• Conducts system and network troubleshoot to segregate and identify general system and network problems
• Manage, maintain and update desktop equipment including pc workstation, laptop, VOIP-phone, copiers, printers and fax machines
• Maintain and secure passwords, file system security and data integrity for desktop environment
• Assist in maintaining and updating documentation of IT policies, procedures and configurations
• Develop and maintain vendor relations.
• Establish and maintain appropriate change management procedures, being the point of reference within the Branch for such processes
• Establish and update regularly the Business Continuity Plan of the Branch; within this activity set-up the disaster recovery plan and perform the Business Impact Analysis in coordination with the heads of other departments
• Monitoring information security as first line of defense
• Monitor the security of Branch’s premises also being responsible for the management of recording cameras
• Report to Branch’s Management all incidents related to information security as well as related to the correct functioning of the information system
• Support the regulatory reporting process from IT/system management point of view
Qualifications and skills:
• Strong educational background on IT: Bachelor or Master Degree from University in IT
• Working experience in IT sector is considered as a PLUS
• Familiar with Network devices. Enable to manage Network protocols layer 2 Ethernet switching and Layer 3 TCP/IP with static routing
• Familiar with Windows systems, group policy, mail system and internet proxy
• Familiar with other office equipment like printer, scanner, fax, copier, etc. Could work together with vendors’ support hotline to resolve problems in a timely manner
• Very reliable and flexible, result oriented
• Fast in learning
• Good coordination skills in a methodical way
• Professional level of Chinese and English languages are MUST.
