Dear friends of the Italy China Foundation,


as announced on February 24, we confirm that in compliance with the measures for the prevention and management of the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19, the operations of the offices of the Italy-China Foundation continue to be guaranteed through the "smart working" mode.

Since the beginning of the health emergency in China, among the various activities carried out we have:

• Constantly maintained relationships with dozens of members and companies to provide assistance and information;
• Realized and distributed Instant Update analysis related to the evolution and consequences of the spread of the epidemic, we also sent a note with a collection of information and news related to the practical-operational measures that the Chinese Authorities at all levels have established in favor companies with operating bases in China;
• A seminar and webinar have been organized to provide both operational and legal updates and indications useful for providing a comprehensive picture of the situation related to the health emergency that China and Italy are facing;
• A special collaboration has been launched with Medical Facts to obtain updates and specialist news on COVID-19.

In addition to the information and support activities strictly related to the situation we are experiencing, the Italy China Foundation is working at full speed for the realization of the activities scheduled for the year 2020 and will be ready to restart as soon as the emergency has returned.

Like every year our Study Center is engaged in the preparation of the Annual Report "China. Scenarios and Prospects for Companies "which will be published and subsequently presented in the context of the usual roadshow in various Italian cities;

We are working on the ninth edition of Italy China Career Day, a real "job fair" that crosses demand and supply of work between companies and resources with a specific linguistic-cultural background for China;
We are working with Chinese and Italian partners and institutions to better organize the participation of our companies in the next edition of the China International Import Expo scheduled for next November in Shanghai;
Within the first half of the year, we will start with the selection of candidates for the China Awards, the prestigious annual event that rewards Italian and Chinese companies that have been able to seize the opportunities of each other's markets, even and especially in a difficult year like the one we are experiencing;
Our Permanent Training School is continuing digitally all the activities and training programs on the calendar;
We are planning new informative appointments (seminars, workshops, comparison tables) in the form of webinars with online connection;
We are in constant contact with Italian and Chinese institutions and institutional partners for the definition of projects and initiatives to be implemented.
