Coronavirus, the Foundation expresses solidarity and closeness to the Chinese people

The President of the Italy China Foundation Alberto Bombassei has sent a letter to the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Italy, Li Junhua, to express the solidarity and closeness of the Foundation, its advisors and associates to the Chinese people, in this difficult moment due to the Coronavirus epidemic, with the awareness that united we win.
Here is the full text of the letter:
Dear Ambassador,

The Board of Directors of the Italy China Foundation and all of us entrepreneurs, public institutions, financial institutions and professionals who are members of it wish to express to you, to your Government and to the Chinese people, our feelings of strong solidarity and friendship which are the basis of all our activities and actually constitute the same raison d'etre of the Foundation.
We ask you and your collaborators not to hesitate to contact us for any organizational and other needs for which the Foundation may be useful.
We are traveling all possible ways to make the voice of Italian entrepreneurs heard, who ask to be able to return to normal in relations with China as soon as the emergency subsides and we are well aware of the fact that the drastic, inevitable containment measures of the epidemic in China and internationally, they are inflicting significant damage on your country and the global economy, but we are absolutely certain that China, as always, will very quickly recover the ground lost in these weeks.
Over 2000 Italian companies operating in Greater China will contribute to this recovery. They intend to stay in China and quickly return to production and invest to continue growing.
The Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce of which I am President and the Foundation, as you know, have been working for days to facilitate the finding of protective material required by the Chinese institutions and will continue to do so until the emergency is over.
Finally, I want to assure you that our Permanent Training School, your Director and staff are following all the 150 students who participate in the ongoing courses and that your young compatriots, whom I personally wanted to greet today, are in excellent physical shape, serene and satisfied with the activities they are carrying out without any discontinuity.
As President of the Chamber of Commerce and of the Foundation, I send you the expression of my highest consideration and friendship.
