The Report - prepared by CeSIF, the Business Studies Center of the Italy China Foundation - is the most complete and quoted outlook on China currently present in Italy, aimed at showing the prospects for Italian companies in China. The volume presents the political, economic and business access scenarios in China, with an in-depth analysis of the sectors of greatest interest for Italian companies and investment opportunities for Chinese companies in Italy.
The 2020 edition of the Annual Report consists of 301 pages, 202 graphs and 34 tables. The publication includes seven sections: the first five report a country risk analysis from a political, macroeconomic and business environment point of view. The sixth presents the main sectoral implications and opportunities for foreign companies in China, with particular reference to Italian ones. Specifically, 10 sectors are analyzed: food and beverage, healthcare, retail, luxury goods, environmental protection, chemicals, machinery, automotive, media and entertainment, furniture. The last chapter presents opportunities in Italy: Chinese tourism and shopping, investments and incoming students from China.
